Young basketball players have youth league, baseball players have little league, and football players have those “Football Friday” nights. But have you ever watched Professional Bull Riding or a Professional Rodeo and wondered how those competitors got their start?

Even though today’s ranches and farms do not rely as much on horses and cowboys to get the work done, the sport of Rodeo has grown into a multi-million dollar industry. If you follow the Professional Bull Riding (PBR) or Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) circuit then you are familiar with the large payouts to the top cowboys and cowgirls. And most of these competitors got their start by competing in their local Youth Rodeo Associations.

The Tri-State Youth Rodeo Association is a family oriented, Christian based rodeo association that promotes sportsmanship, leadership, confidence, respect, and most importantly the ability to become winners in the arena of life through Christ. We encourage all members and family to attend our Cowboy Church held before each rodeo and we encourage our participants to fellowship with their fellow competitors, to have respect for one another, and to always be willing to lend a helping hand.

Our events are held at the Circle G Arena in Harmony, North Carolina. Spectators and fans are always welcome and encouraged! So bring your family and friends for a night of fun and excitement and help cheer our competitors on! Great food is available on the grounds. Admission for the rodeo is $6 per person, children 6 and under free.

If you are interested in attending a Junior Rodeo or know of a child who would like to participate in one of our events please contact us, we would love to have you help us celebrate our youth and the wonderful sport of rodeo! Contact: Vivian Leftwich, Director (336)789-4716 or Eddie Galliher, Director (704)546-5190.
